Among frowns, hoods, umbrellas
I look for a sign of love
as rain almost connects us.

    Isn't it interesting how the word 'almost' - often acting as a weakening or diminishing agent - here, in your piece, becomes a keenly felt reaching out and creates a close magical space? Lovely.
